Baby Chicks!

One of the 5th grade teachers at Kesley's school hatches chicks every year and the kids can take them home and keep them(if its alright with the parents). So the kids kept bugging me forever for some. But the didn't want just one but they wanted two. So after Kesley telling me that when they get bigger we can take them to her friend that has a chicken coop. So I gave in and they brought some home from school and kept them in the garage under a light. They had fun playing with them and enjoying them while they were little. We had them for about 3 weeks and gave them to her friend. So I guess my kids got to experience what it was like to have chicks and take care of them. I felt like I was on a farm cause our rabbits just had baby bunnies and we were dog sitting. We had alot of animals, and my kids were busy with animal duty, but they enjoyed it, and teaches them to be responsible!

They picked out a brown/black one and yellow one with a brown stripe down the back cause it looked like a skunk!

Brielle had fun holding the chicks and playing with them.

They had built in the garage a maze for them to walk through made out of blocks of wood. It was just the right size for them where it was like a wall. They put food in spots along the way to help them go through all of it. It was creative of them and kept them busy for along time.

Spring Break!

We stayed in a timeshare in Vegas for about 5 days. It was nice to go down there in it isn't crazy HOT! But the kids went swimming everyday, they loved it! They could live in the pool if I let them. We went down with Marsha and Russ and we each had our own room and a kitchen to be able to cook our meals. It was in the nice, newer part of Vegas out in Summerlin so that was good!

Makayla is my little fish!

Corben and Bridger loved the waterfalls in the pool. They would just go right under them. They said it would massage their back for them.

Brett going to take a swim!

Brielle and Dax loved the warm one, those two are funny together!

After we went to circus, circus we went to eat at the Cheesecake Factory! It was YuMmY!

Circus! Circus!

For Spring Break we went down to Vegas and went to Circus,Circus. The kids love it there and it nice cause it is all inside and AIR CONDITIONED. But the rides there are pretty good and they have quite a few of them for little and big kids. They are waiting to get into the 4-D movie, Happy Feet.

Kesley and Brielle on a ride together. Its nice to have the oldest be able to go with the youngest!

They all went on the bus together even Marsh is on it!

This is like a ferris wheel but its hot air ballons.

This is one of their favorite rides, the frog hopper. It keeps going up and up and drops more and more. Brielle said, "It tickled her tummy."

Brielle getting her pictures with Sponge Bob!

This was Brielle's and Dax's favorite ride, they wanted to go on it again and again. It was perfect cause Dax could just sit right behind Brielle. They loved flying the airplanes.

All Dressed Up!

Brielle and Makayla had the opportunity to escort senior boys out in an assembly at the High School. They got to dress all up for it and go out in front of the school. Their was about 8 little girls that did it.Makayla loved every second of it and asked if she could do it again next year, but Brielle was a little scared and wasn't quite sure about all of it. But it was so cute to see these little girls walking out with these senior guys all dressed up!

She had to pick a question out of the bucket for them to read and answer.

Valentine's Day

We did a Valentine's Day dinner with our kids this year. It was alot of fun, we made the heart pizzas, with the xoxo breadsticks, and the heart jello. We hadn't ever did a candlelight dinner with our kids, and thought it would be fun.

Our Valentine's Dinner with our Family!

Brielle came with me to help in Makayla's class for their Valentin's Party! She had fun doing a Valentine's Hand with all the other kids!

While I was helping in Makayla's class party, Brett was able to go see Kes at her 5th grade dance. She had learned different dances and ask boys/and boys ask girls on the dances. Then they had a few dances with their parents, so I was glad he was able to go to it! She had lots of fun!
